State Route 13 (SR 13), in the United States, is a south–north route from the Alabama border in Wayne County to the Kentucky border in Montgomery County. The entire route is located in western Middle Tennessee. For the majority of its length, SR 13 is designated as a primary highway, except between Erin and Cunningham, which is designated as a secondary highway. Route description Wayne County SR 13 begins at the Alabama state line in Wayne County just south of Fairview, where it continues south as SR 17. It then goes north through Fairview and has an intersection and short concurrency with SR 227 before continuing north, crossing under, and paralleling the Natchez Trace Parkway for a few miles to Collinwood, where it intersects with SR 203. It then goes through downtown and has an interchange with the Natchez Trace before finally leaving it and continuing north. State Route 100 (SR 100) is a west–east state highway in both West Tennessee and Middle Tennessee that connects Whiteville with Nashville. It is long. Route description Hardeman County SR 100 begins as a primary highway in West Tennessee in Hardeman County at an intersection with US 64/SR 15 in Whiteville. Then SR 100 leaves Whiteville heading east but slightly northward before crossing the Hatchie River. SR 100 then has an intersection with SR 138 just north of Toone. State Route 128 (SR 128) is a state highway in western and western Middle Tennessee. It connects Pickwick Dam with Linden, via Savannah and Clifton. Route description Hardin County SR 128 begins as a primary highway in Hardin County in the community of Pickwick Dam at an intersection with SR 57, just north of the Mississippi state line. The highway then goes north and crosses overtop of Pickwick Landing Dam, which impounds the Tennessee River, before leaving Pickwick Dam and continuing north through rural areas. State Route 48 (SR 48) is a long north–south state highway in Middle Tennessee. It traverses six counties, and it is long. Route description Wayne, Perry, and Lewis Counties SR 48 begins as a primary state route in far northern Wayne County at a junction with SR 13. Tennessee State Route 228
State Route 228 (SR 228) is a long east-west state highway located entirely in the mountains of northern Wayne County, Tennessee. Route description SR 228 begins in Clifton at an intersection with SR 128 northeast of downtown and just north Hassell-Carroll Field Airport. It goes east as Morrison Creek Road to wind its way through mountains to leave Clifton and come to an intersection with Beech Creek Road, where SR 228 makes a sharp right turn to follow that road. The highway then traverses a narrow valley for several miles, where it passes through the community of Leatherwood. It is the only state highway in Tennessee that both begins and ends at the Alabama state line, with one end at Cypress Inn and the other just across the state line from Lexington, Alabama.
